Beautiful day! Julian and I were out all afternoon, didn't get home to dinner and now it's time to put him to bed.
If I do have anything to say, I can't think of it right now...
Oh and...if your child grew up to be a professional footplayer, with all the injuries, would you be happy for them?

if being a football player is my child's passion, of ocurse i'd be happy for them. Often when one is living their passsion, they don't encounter such things as 'injuries'...now if you are asking if i'll 'let' my son play on the middle school football team..the verdict is still out ;-)
ReplyDeleteHi Alicia,
ReplyDeleteBut what if football is your son's passion is to play football in middle school? :)
yes yes exactly, what if...that's why the verdict is still out, and how do you judge what someone's passion is, and what if it changes, AND my 10 yr old son is very fortunate to have two parents which have their share of not seeing eye-to-eye which lends to a someitmes-big difference in what he is allowed to do, and what I am happy for him to do. ;-) and that won't completely go away until he is 'allowed' to make his own decisions...legally an adult for somethings.
ReplyDeleteWell I find kids know their passion. My son is 5 and we signed him up for a baseball clinic on the "off-season" of baseball. I asked him if it was too much, his response was, "it's my passion Mom, why would it be too much?"
